Delete your WorkCarousel account
Last updated: September 26, 2026This page explains how to delete your account in WorkCarousel, the app published by WorkCarousel, and what happens to your data when you do.
Delete your account in the app
- Open WorkCarousel and go to your Profile.
- Open the settings card.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm twice. Your account is deleted as soon as you confirm.
Can't open the app?
Email support@workcarousel.com from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete my account." We'll confirm by reply and delete the account within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, name or handle, email address, and date of birth.
- Your career chapters and your membership in every Cohort.
- Your posts, reactions, comments, messages, Water Cooler conversations, and shelf items, including photos and videos you uploaded.
- Your appearance on any company page's roster.
Deleted data leaves the live service immediately and is purged from our backups within 30 days.
What we keep, and for how long
- Records of content removed for breaking our rules, and reports about your account, for up to 1 year, so we can keep banned members from returning.
- Anything we are legally required to preserve, such as material reported to law enforcement, for as long as the law requires.
- Billing records for Company Studio or advertising purchases, for 7 years, as tax and accounting law requires.
Before you delete
- Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Use the steps above.
- Deleting your account does not cancel a Quiet mode subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
- Deletion is permanent. A deleted account and its content cannot be restored.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You can delete any post, chapter, or shelf item on its own at any time from within the app. It is removed right away.
