What we collect

When you create an account we store the profile you build: your name or chosen handle, your email address, the career chapters you add, the posts, reactions, messages and shelf items you create, and the rooms you join. This is the product — it exists so other members can find and talk to you.

What never leaves your device

• Résumé files. If you import a résumé PDF, it is parsed entirely on your device. The file is never uploaded to our servers or to any third party. Only the chapter rows you individually approve are saved to your profile.
• Your ongoing location. We do not track location. If you choose to tag a place, the app takes a single reading at roughly 2-mile accuracy and does not retain your position afterward.

Third-party media

Podcast episodes and other linked media on a member's shelf make no network request to the hosting service (such as YouTube or Spotify) until you press play. Scrolling past sends nothing.

Advertising

Sponsored cards are sold at a fixed price per thousand views and are labeled as sponsored. We count views ourselves and do not sell your personal data to advertisers. Members on the paid Quiet mode tier see no placements.

Payments

Quiet mode subscriptions are processed by Apple. Company Studio subscriptions and advertising campaigns are processed by our card payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.

Moderation

When a post is reported it enters the Review Room and may be shown to other members of the relevant room as part of a Jury vote, and to our moderators.

Your choices

• Sensitive content is off by default and opt-in.
• You can edit or delete your posts, chapters and shelf items at any time.
• You can delete your account from within the app, which removes your profile and content from the service.
